history of Regal Beagle

– The name is a tribute to the fictional neighborhood pub in the classic sitcom Three’s Company, aired from 1977 to 1984.

– 1950’s-1990s: The bar operated as a no-frills, ” dark” dive bar known for its loyal local following and jukebox.

– 1990’s-2021: Bar was famously run by an owner known to locals as ” Pops”, who was well regarded for remembering familiar faces and taking dance requests. Bar closed in 2021 during COVID epidemic. Bar was sold to new owners.

– 2021-2024: After decades of minimal changes, the bar underwent a massive transformation. It was completely renovated ” down to the brick walls”. Remodel shifted the venue toward an upscale restaurant and sports bar style, adding TVs, boxing machine, darts, an outdoor patio and a dance floor.

– Grand Reopening: The “New” Regal Beagle (Regal Beagle Ada) celebrated its grand opening in October 5, 2024.
